LET'S BE GAY. American, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A variant of venerable "Duke of Perth," an early 18th century British reel. Musician and researcher Conor Ward finds a cognate tune in Co. Leitrim musician Stephen Grier's c. 1882 manuscript collection under the title "All Round the Room."
