BELLS OF DOVER, THE. American, Jig (6/8 time). D Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. "Bells of Dover" was composed by West Coast musician Dave Cahn, who told Susan Songer (Portland Collection vol. 3) that the bells were small, indeed. Dover was his daughter's pet parakeet.
