"Anderson's Music Shop" was composed by fiddler-composer John Clark of Perthshire, about whom, unfortunately, nothing is known. His volume A Collection of New Strathspey Reels & Country Dances was printed for him in 1795 by Anderson's music shop of Perth, and he dedicated it to the shop.
