AABB.Glenties (Na Gleannta) is a town in the west of County Donegal, which as its name suggests is at the confluence of two scenic glens. The tune was originally recorded by as "Shores of Ballybunion (The)" in 1935 by Frank Lee's Tara Ceilidh Band.
