SICILIAN DANCE [2]. English, Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Sicilian Dance [2]" is a different 6/8 time melody than “Sicilian Dance (1) (The)” and appears in the c. 1820–1840 music manuscript collection of poet and musician John Clare (1793–1864, Helpston, Northants). The same tune can be found as an untitled jig in The Sussex Tunebook.
