HOG WENT THROUGH THE FENCE, YOKE AND ALL(, THE). Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Kentucky. A Major. AEae tuning (fiddle). AB. Source Strong was recorded by Alan and Elizabeth Lomax for the Library of Congress in 1937. Titon (2001) says that although Strong was the sole source for the tune, it is related to the widespread variants of "Cluck Old Hen (1)."
