BLOOMING MEADOWS [3], THE. AKA and see "Lark on the Strand (2)," "Lass on the Strand (3)," "Primrose Glen (The)," "Wicky Sears." Irish, Double Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Breathnach (1963) says the tune is sometimes incorrectly called "Lark on the Strand (2)," although this title seems to have stuck. The "Wicky Sears" title comes from Jerry O'Brien's Irish Folk Dance Music (Roxbury, Mass.).
