COLTISHAW SLOW HORNPIPE. English, Hornpipe (4/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This hornpipe was entered as an untitled tune in the c. 1890 music manuscript collection of George H. Watson who lived at the time in Swanton Abbott, East Anglia. The name "Coltishaw Slow Hornpipe" was bestowed on the tune in modern times by Chris Partington of the Village Music Project after the presumed home village of Mr. Watson.
