HOPKIN'S CORNER. English, Jig. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was first published in Charles and Samuel Thompson's 1757 country dance collection (London). It also appears in Norris & Sayer's Village Fifer (Exeter, N.H.) of 1808.
