PADDY IN LONDON [2]. AKA and see “Clare Jig (1) (The),” “Delaney’s Drummers,” “Jug of Brown Ale,” “Mug of Brown Ale (1) (The),” “Raffle Jig (The),” “Winter Apples (2).” Irish, Jig. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Mulvihill, Taylor): AA’BB’ (O’Malley). No relation to “Paddy in London (1)." Accordion player Peter J. ("P.J.") Conlon, originally from County Galway, recorded the tune in New York in 1929 at the end of his recording career on a 78 RPM recording as the 2nd tune in a set entitled "Contentment is Wealth."
