HONORABLE MRS. LESLIE CUMING. Scottish, Jig. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Composed and communicated by Mr. Boswell of Auchinleck" (Gow, 1817). This is the James Bowswell [1], a lawyer, who was a journalist, writer and anamnesis to Dr. Samuel Johnson (see also "Shelah O'Neill" for more).
