REEL DE MA TANTE LYDIA. AKA and see "Reel du tricentenaire (1)." French-Canadian, Reel. A Major. AEae tuning (fiddle). The reel, under the title "Reel de ma tante Lydia," was in the repertoire of fiddler Louis “Pitou” Boudreault (1905-1988, Chicoutimi, Québec). However, it is a version of an earlier reel, "Reel du tricentenaire," recorded by Montreal fiddler Joseph Allard in 1942. Both Allard's and Boudreault's tunes are themselves versions of "Miller's Reel (1)."
