HONORABLE MR. RAMSAY MAULE'S REEL. Scottish, Reel. G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by Kirkmichael, Perthshire, fiddler and composer Robert Petrie, in honor of his friend, Ramsay Maule, and MP from the area. It was included in his Second Collection of Strathspey Reels and Country Dances (1796, p. 4). See note for "Mr. Maule's Frolick" for more on Maule.
