MISS GRAHAM CLARKE'S STRATHSPEY. AKA - "Graham Clark's." AKA and see "Delvin House (1)," "Delvine House, Hobble the Boutches, Hot Broth, Miss Graham Clarke's Strathspey, Warm Broth." Scottish, Strathspey (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Fr. John Quinn finds the tune to be a version of "Delvin House (1)," whose earliest appearance is in Edinburgh fiddler, composer and bandleader Alexander McGlashan's c. 1780 collection. The tune has variously been attributed to Niel Gow, Abraham Mackintosh and others, and a firm attribution has not been established.
