This untitled quadrille part is the first of a four-part quadrille set contained in the c. 1863-73 music manuscript collection of Crossmolina, County Mayo, farmer and fiddler Philip Carolan (c. 1839-1910). The second strain is reminiscent of, and perhaps related to, "Dingle Regatta".
