HUMOURS OF WOODSTOWN. Irish, Slip Jig. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Some similarity in melodic contour to "Dever the Dancer." Woodstown is the name of a village near Waterford, and another of the several place-names from County Waterford contained in O'Farrell's volumes. Such is the frequency that one can only conclude O'Farrell was from that county or had meaningful connections to it.
