ART O'KEEFFE'S (SLIDE) [1]. AKA and see “Hare in the Corn (5)." Irish, Slide (12/8 time) or Double Jig. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Art O’Keeffe (born c. 1903) was a singer, fiddler and tin whistle player from Gneeveguilla (pronounced “Guinea-gulla”), west Kerry, near Killarney, known today mostly for his whistle playing. He was also a member of the old Lisheen fife-and-drum band, captained by Bill "The Weaver" Murphy (fiddler Denis Murphy's father).
