O'KEEFFE'S SLIDE [1]. AKA and see "Dan O'Keeffe's Slide (2)," "Danny Ab's Slide (2)." Irish, Slide (Jig). E Dorian (Em). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was popularized in the United States through the Chieftain's recording, and when Larsen & Dalglish paired it with the rather similar-sounding "Road to Lisdoonvarna (1)." Dan O'Keeffe was a neighbor of brother and sister Sliabh Luachra fiddlers Dennis Murphy and Julia Clifford.
