WALTZ RAMSEY. English, Waltz (3/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. "Waltz Ramsey" is contained in the mid-19th century music manuscript collection of flute player William Killey (Jurby, Isle of Man). Killey researcher Ian Radcliffe points out the the village of Ramsey is about seven miles east of Killey's hometown of Jurby, and thus the tune is likely a local composition.
