GRANNY PLAYS THE FIDDLE. American, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune has been identified as a old-time, duple meter version of the well-known jig "Haste to the Wedding (1)." Compare also with the first strain of Edward Riley's "Quick Step (70)."
