STRUAN ROBERTSON. Scottish, Reel (cut time). E Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Scottish national champion fiddler Arthur Scott Robertson (1911-2000), born in Bressay, Shetland. Robertson initially learned to fiddle in the Shetland style, but in the 1930's immersed himself in the music of North-East Scotland. He was a prolific composer of fiddle tunes as well as a champion fiddler.
