HUMOURS OF CASTLEFINN, THE (Pléaráca Chaisleán na Finne). AKA - "Humors of Castlefin." AKA and see "Eagan's," "Paddy Miles' Fricassee." Irish, Reel. E Minor. Standard tuning. AB. The late fiddler Danny O'Donnell (1910-2001) said on notes to his album that the famous Donegal fiddler Neilly Boyle had a friend named Joe Boyle who taught near Castlefin, Donegal, and that was the derivation of the tunes name. Neilly passed it on to Frank O'Higgins.
