BUGLE QUICKSTEP [1], THE. AKA and see "Lady in the Boat." AKA - "Bugle Horn (1) (The), "Bugle Horn Quick Step." English, Scottish; Jig or Quickstep. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. As "Bugle Horn" or "Bugle Call Two-Step", the tune was in the repertoire of the Northumbrian group The Cheviot Ranters (1953-1996), who hailed from Alnwick. They played the tune for the dance Washington Two-Step.
