PUSH THE PONEY. AKA and see "Bowwow (The)." "Irish", Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune appears to be unique to the 1867 collection of P.H. Hughes, printed in London, which purports to be a volume of Irish tunes. There seems little to recommend this jig, which contains little of Irish character in it.
