"Air [47]" is an untitled air contained in Book 3 (No. 268) of the large c. 1883 music manuscript collection of County Leitrim fiddler and piper Stephen Grier. Grier entered an identical version of the tune, also untitled, as No. 243, p. 72, Book 3. It was christened "Leitrim Piper" when printed in Breathnach & Small's Ceol Rince na hÉireann vol. 4 (1996) in a nod to their source for the tune, piper Grier. However, the tune is a cognate of the Welsh air "Cader Idris" or "Sweet Jenny Jones."
