The tune was first published in Glasgow by James Aird as "Norickystie, or the wild Irishman" (with parts reversed from Goodman's version). Breathnach published a version in his Ceol Rince na hEireann vol. 1 under the title "Cailleach an túirne" (Maid at the Spinning Wheel), also with parts in a different order than Goodman's.
