JIG [120]. AKA - "Bacon Ridge Jig." Canadian, Jig (6/8 time). Canada, Manitoba. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). This untitled jig was in the repertory of Métis fiddler Grandy Fagnan (c. 1902-1986) of Camperville, Manitoba, recorded in the field in the mid-1980's by fiddler and researcher Anne Lederman. She notes that it is a "version of a tune also played in [the Métis communities of] Bacon Ridge/Ebb and Flow Area, sometimes called the 'Bacon Ridge Jig'."
