Biographical notes
JOSEPH GUILMETTE (1886-1950) was born in the village of Natashquan, Quebec, in September 1886. He showed musical talent at a young age, choosing to play the accordion. When he was ten he moved with his family to Rimouski and continued to develop his instrumental skills.
