MOOREHEAD'S HORNPIPE.   Irish, Hornpipe.  D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB.  "Moorehead's Hornpipe" was entered into vol. 4 (p. 158) of the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork cleric and uilleann piper James Goodman. Lisa Shield finds the tune first printed in Dublin music publisher Morris (later Maurice) Hime's 1802 collection (No. 1).
