AKA and see "Rising of the Sun (The)," "[[Rising Sun [2]]]," "Blackthorn Stick (4) (The)," "Clear the Road," "Irishman's Blackthorn Stick (The)," "The Jolly Clam-Diggers," "Sean-draighnean (An)." Scottish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. An 'inch' means a level field in Gaelic. Malcolm MacDonald, who composed the tune, paired it on the same page with his "Miss Menzies of Culdar (2)" in his collection.
