JACK A (O) TAR. AKA and see "Jacky Tar," "Jack and His Trousers," "Jack and His Trousers On," "Cuckoo's Nest." Scottish, Hornpipe. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Athole, Skye): AABB (Honeyman). The tune is clearly "The Cuckoo's Nest."

Jack Tar. Attributed to figurehead carver Jeremiah Dodge of New York (died c. 1860).
