CASTLETOWN CONNERS [1] (Baile-Caislean Uí Concobair). AKA - "Castletown Connors." AKA and see "Condon's Frolics," "Digging for Gold," "Paddy Carty's Jig," "The Thatcher," "Walsh's Jig [2]." Irish, Double Jig. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Named for a town in Limerick. O'Neill (Irish Folk Music) says the tune was "unpublished and new to us." Sometimes the parts are reversed from the abc's below.
