BIB COUNTY HOEDOWN. AKA - "Bibb County Breakdown." Old-Time, Breakdown. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. In the repertoire of Seven Foot Dilly and His Dill Pickles (A.A. Gray, fiddle), north Georgia, who recorded it in 1930. Bibb County is in Georgia, created in 1822 and named after William Wyatt Bibb (1790-1820), a United States Senator and Governor of the Territory of Alabama. Macon is the county seat.
