HE'S BONNY. AKA - "He's Bonny. He's o'er the hill this night that I loe weel for a' that." Scottish, Slow Air. B Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. A note in the Gows' Fifth Collection (1809) reads: "This Tune is Supposed to have been Composed about the year 1745." Under the title "He's ower the hill that I know well," the melody is a staple of pipe bands.
