BLACK HAWK WALTZ [1]. American, Waltz. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. "The Black Hawk Waltz" was composed by Mary E. Walsh and was published in New York by the Conservatory Publication Society, Broadway & 37th St., in 1902. The tune was recorded by Clark Kessinger (1896-1975, Kanawha County, W. Va.) and J.P. Fraley (Rush, Ky.).
