BLACK ROSIE. Irish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Josephine Keegan (b. 1935), of Mullaghbawn, south County Armagh. The tune is named for a woman who was Keegan's nearest neighbour when she first moved to Mullaghbawn, remembered for the warmth of her welcome and her interest in the schooling and activities of the community youngsters.
