MRS. MULVIHILL’S. AKA and see "Ballinahula Polka (2)." Irish, Polka. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was learned by New York fiddler and teacher Martin Mulvihill (1919-1987) from the playing of his mother. Mulvihill was originally from Glin in County Limerick, and, according to Dónal Murphy, learned many tunes from this mother, Minnie Flynn, who was an excellent fiddler and concertina player and who had a store of tunes from the west County Limerick area.
