KATIE TROTTER. AKA and see "Miss Katty Trotter." Scottish (originally), Canadian; Reel. Canada, Cape Breton. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Robert 'Red Rob' MacIntosh originally published under the title "Miss Ketty Trotter" in Neil Stewart's c. 1765 collection. The tune was in the repertoire of Cape Breton fiddler Dave MacIsaac.
