BOOTH SHOT LINCOLN [2]. Old-Time, Breakdown. E Minor. Standard tuning (tuning). AA'BB. An extremely 'crooked' (irregular) tune. Stacy Phillips says he learned the tune from Kenny Kosek, who had it from Alan Feldman; the latter said he later learned that "it is really a very twisted version of 'Haning's Farewell'" (Phillips, FIDDLE-L, 12/2/05). No relation to "Booth Shot Lincoln [1]."
