NÁ GAMHNA GEALLA BÁNA.   Irish, Air (whole time).  D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB.   There are two versions of this song air in George Petrie's collections, one in D Major and one in G Dorian.  The latter time signature was altered by editor Charles Villiers Stanford from Petrie's original transcription, which also was written in two sharps.   County Cork cleric and uilleann piper James Goodman entered a version of Petrie's No. 1153 in volume 1 (p. 250) of his large mid-19th century music manuscript collection.
