JOSIE GIRL. American, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'CC'. "Josie Girl" is one of the first tunes Tennessee fiddler Charlie Acuff learned from his grandfather Charlie Boyd Acuff. See also the related "Barlow Knife (2)."

A “josie” is a long cape with an additional cape attached to the outside.
