Composed by Brechin dancing master and musician Robert Lowe, the brother of biography:Joseph Lowe, the editor of the Lowe Collection of Scottish Music (1844-45). It is a companion reel to the next tune, a strathspey entitled "Miss Agnes Loudon," also composed by Robert Lowe and presumably the same person as "Miss Loudon."
