Goodman's duple-time air is related to Bunting's 3/4 time “Twisting of the Rope (1) (The)," and shares much melodic material, although also has distinct melodic differences as well.

Source for notated version : - a manuscript collection dated 1861, compiled by Church of Ireland cleric and uilleann piper James Goodman (1828-1896) who collected largely in County Cork [Shields].
