Buzzard in a Pea Patch
BUZZARD IN A PEA PATCH. AKA and see "Turkey in a Pea Patch." Old-Time, Breakdown. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune is traced to Kentucky fiddler Buddy Thomas, who recorded it as "Turkey in a Pea Patch" on his influential "Kitty Puss" album. The use of "Buzzard" in the title is apparently from the Stonekings.
