CLUCK OLD HEN [2]. American, Reel (cut time). A Mixolydian. Standard or AEae tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune, a distanced relative of "Cluck Old Hen (1)," features pizzicato notes. Fiddlers Charlie Acuff (1920-2013, Blount County, Tenn.) and Clyde Davenport's (b. 1921, Wayne County, Ky.) versions are quite similar.
