DÚISEACHD. AKA and see "Jackson's Duishig." Breathnach (1996) finds the alternate title "Jackson's Duishig" in County Cork. The tune is attributed by Goodman to the 18th century gentleman piper Walker 'Piper' Jackson, of the townland of Lisdaun, parish of Ballingarry, Aughrim, County Limerick. The title compares with "Jackson's Duishig" or "Jackson's Dooshay", the latter of which appears attached to a duple-time reel in the c. 1909 music manuscript collection of Rev. Luke Donnellan, Oriel region, south Ulster.
