ELMER'S TUNE. AKA and see "Marche Cécilia." Canadian, Polka/Galop (4/4 time). Canada, Québec. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Source Corrigan learned the tune from Yves Verret, but called it for his friend Elmer Boyd. However, the tune was composed by accordion great Alfred Montmarquette (1871-1944), who recorded it in the early 1930's under the title "Marche Cécilia."
