EVERYBODY TWO-STEP. American, Rag or Two-Step. "Everybody Two-Step" is a popular Tin-Pan-Alley song composed in 1912 with words by Earl C. Jones and music by Wallie Herzer, based on an instrumental version the latter wrote in 1910. It was recorded in 1912 by William Thomas "Billy" Murray (1877-1954), released on an Edison cylinder, as well as others. See also the similar "Dill Pickle Rag.
