GARFIELD'S BLACKBERRY BLOSSOM. AKA and see "Blackberry Blossom (4)." American, Reel. USA, northeast Ky. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. From legendary northeast Ky. fiddler wikipedia:Ed_Haley (1885-1951), although also played by Kentucky fiddlers Buddy Thomas, Snake Chapman and J.P. Fraley, as well as Ed Morrison. The tune was usually known simply as "Blackberry Blossom(s)," but has been called "Garfield's Blackberry Blossom" to differentiate it from the bluegrass reel called "Blackberry Blossom."
