JACK OF DIAMONDS [2]. AKA and see "Fort Worth." American, Reel (2/4 time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was in the repertory of east Kentucky fiddler Owen "Snake" Chapman, but he told John Hartford he had learned it from an old fiddler in Chicago. The tune may have a southwestern U.S. provenance.
